Terms of Use

Last updated:

By using the Somethin' Stupid website and tool ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

What the Service does

The Service helps you rewrite text you provide, in a chosen cultural style, authorial voice, or tone. It relies on a third-party AI provider that you connect using your own API key. The rewritten output is generated by that provider, and its quality, accuracy, and appropriateness are not guaranteed.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to create content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, deceptive, or that infringes the rights of others. A built-in filter blocks certain disallowed language, but it is not exhaustive and does not replace your own judgment. You are responsible for anything you generate and choose to publish.

Your content

You retain rights to the text you enter and the output you generate. We do not claim ownership. Because the tool runs in your browser and sends text directly to your chosen AI provider, your use of that provider is also governed by the provider's own terms.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any content generated through it.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
